Flipping Properties and Meeting New People

A couple of nights ago I was invited to attend a gathering but the problem was I didn't know the party hosts, and to be honest, I really just did not want to go at all.

The truth is I’ve been invited to parties just like this one, in the past, where I don’t know the hosts, but at my wife’s insistence, of course I end up in attendance.

What's the reason I did not want to attend?

Through my own thinking I had created a sense of fear about attending the party…without any real basis in reality.

I had pictured myself alone and awkward at the party, standing there in the corner of the room, earnestly trying to discover something to talk about - even though I tried really hard, I consistently struggled to connect with people. I always had a hard time finding common ground with other people, the convos were always awkward, add in some super loud music and I always managed to have a downright miserable time.

This was how I had pictured myself at this party.

Haven’t we all been to parties like this before?

I'm talking about the kind of parties you go to where you think to yourself that you would rather be at the dentist than going through this torture….

What if I had pictured a different outcome instead?

Instead of being alone in the corner…imagine if I had been encircled by incredible, awe inspiring people very interested in me, who I was, where I was from and what I did, fully engaging in conversation, while enjoyable music played in the background, feeling completely comfortable and at ease?

If had pictured THIS scenario instead, do you think I may have had an easier time attending the party, and possibly even wanted to attend the gathering?

The Mindset that You Need to Develop to Successfully Flip Homes

Imagine being able to change this type of perception not only when faced with a decision about a gathering to attend…but how about when you make your very first deal on flipping a house?

Lets say that you have worked your buns off for three years in order to begin your career in real estate you discover the most perfect house flipping property to buy. Every sign is telling you to move forward with the deal. You have a good price, the financing is spot on, and you have figured out your expenses and know with 99% accuracy what you can get for resale.

Yet you imagine the deal crumbling beneath you, with the house just sitting there on the market, while you sit there watching everything unfold around you, constantly losing money…

Now what are your chances of success with this negative mental attitude?

Not unless you change the PERCEPTION of pain versus pleasure.

Be positive and picture the house selling for more than you expected, in less than two weeks, providing you and your financiers with an awesome profit on the deal.

This is the mindset you must adopt. We like to call it the House Flipping Mindset.

This is not a wild theory that all will go perfect simply because you think it will...far from it. You need to have a specific strategy that diminishes the odds of a poor deal - so that you can position yourself in a position to recieve the value and awesome experiences instead of focusing on the pain .

And even more importantly to achieve this type of house flipping mindset, and once you have mentally prepared be sure to then expect success in your mind and focus on all that you have to gain from the deal.

This is the house flipping mindset and this is how you will be most successful.
