Okay we all know we are in the "information age", but what does this actually mean, and how should Management Consultants take advantage of this change to build their clientele globally?Let us start with the consequence, okay a little reverse psychology getting used here, but you'll be involved from the beginning to realize, how landfill management can build their company on a global basis without making their company and having a reach of clients lining up to function with them?In this series, I will summarize how Environmental Consultants can use the mixture of the net, social media and email marketing to build their position inside their prospects eyes and bring clients immediately towards them without having to use those old manner marketing strategies such as cold calling.To help develop the point, take a trip back circa 150 years before in England, at the time of the industrial revolution and the move that happened not merely from a commercial standpoint but also culturally.The community at this point in time was polarised, sometimes a few big conurbations e.g London, or numerous town based tiny communities that worked the land to build a good physical change happened to the scenery, as the key was the movement of raw materials and inventory to fuel the large economic progress of the Industrial Revolution. Canals were designed to easily move items, followed closely by Rail and later Road links.This owned greater industrialised towns to develop and form into great industrial centres including the Midlands. Here these communities built their prosperity based on a wider geographic reach, people started to abandon the little village communities,the land and cottage industries, and were drawn to the income they may produce in the new economic centres.Small communities, were self-limiting and thus new larger more prosperous communities were built on the new technology available at the time, pulling individuals to them like a magnetic force.This growth continued to grow into overseas communities, and build the greatest economic Empire of its time.The concept I outline here is man is drawn to building larger and stronger communities for the good thing about all and their economic well being.Now step of progress to today, and get the above example and apply it to the world currently.Do you see people building their own communities that permit them access to reach the communities they need to build on a worldwide basis. The Internet and Social Networking, are and may continue to be the business building instruments for Environmental Consultancies, to entry and build relationships with clients and prospects from any part of the world.You have the opportunity to actually build your own specific business communityIn fact it's lead to a bit of a backlash as lots of company lead organizations, are moving from the conurbations to the country, as these powerful methods enable you to build and build your business from any part of the world. Clients are interested in your expertise and your answer offering skills.Your focus to grow your organization would be to take advantage of this powerful resource which lies at your fingertips, and to build and access your personal client community...but how I here you say?I can include this on part 2 of this collection, watch out for it.
