Property Flipping and Partying with New People

I was invited to a party the other night and having a vague knowledge of the party hosts, I did not feel like attending the party one bit.

The fact of the matter is that I have been asked to go to parties similar to this in the past where I do not know anyone, but with my girl friend pushing me, I always end up going.

So why do I never want to go?

I had, in my mind, created a false sense of fear of attending…without any real basis in reality.

I had imagined myself standing awkwardly in the corner, desperately trying to find something to talk about with the people who were there - of course no matter how hard I tried, I consistently struggled to connect with people. There was no common ground, the convos were always awkward, I always seemed to have an unenjoyable time.

As sad as it sounds, that is how I always envisioned my party experiences.

Haven't most of us, at least at some point in time, felt like this?

These are the kinds of parties you go to where you think to yourself you’d actually rather be getting a tooth removed at the dentist office than going through this torture….

But what if I had tried to simply picture and expect a different and better outcome?

Instead of sitting there, alone and miserable…imagine if I had pictured being surrounded by people that were truly interested in what I had to say and contribute, taking part in great conversation, while relaxing music played on in the background, feeling completely comfortable and at ease?

If had pictured THIS scenario instead, do you think I would have still wanted to not attend the event?

The House Flipping Mindset Revealed

Envision for just a moment, that you are able to change this perception not only when faced with a decision about a gathering to attend…but also when you go into your first house flipping deal?

Lets say that you have worked your buns off for three years in order to begin your career in real estate you find the perfect house flipping opportunity. All of the signs point to yes. Finally you have uncovered a good price, you have financing, you know how much renovations will run and you know for sure how much you can get for the final home.

Yet despite all this, you picture all going south, the home just sitting there with no interest from buyers, as you watch your margins dwindle-month by month…

What are the chances that you are you going to do this house flip?

Not unless you change the PERCEPTION of pain versus pleasure.

Instead picture the house selling for thousands more than your worst case price, in less than 30 days, leaving you and your financial backers plenty of money to go around.

This is the sort of mindset you must adopt-the house flipping mindset.

This is not a guarantee that all will go as planned that all will go perfect only because you think it ought to...no my friend, that is not the case at all. You really need an awesome strategy and gameplan that diminishes the odds of the bad deal - in oder to place yourself in a spot to receive value and pleasure in reaping profits instead of thinking of the pain.

And even more importantly to acquire this positive mindset, once you have done all that you need to then imagine success in your mind as to all you have to GAIN by doing the deal.

This is the mindset you need to flip houses and is the very first critical step to house flipping success.
